5 Ways to Improve Team Morale

It may sound simple on paper but developing good strategies that meet the unique needs of your team require a lot of work and a commitment to improve their working environment.
Even with the right people and best intentions, team morale can sometimes take a downturn. And if you let it get bad enough, it can have catastrophic consequences for productivity and interpersonal relationships.

What is the first phase of the Truth and Reconciliation for Business program?
It's everyone's responsibility to improve relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. To do that, gaining a better understanding of the history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada from pre-contact to today is a must.
The first phase of the Truth and Reconciliation for Business program is grounded in education. It includes an interactive online learning platform, where participants will be guided through the following 10 chapters:
- Pre-contact
- Contact
- Legislation
- Residential Schools
- Child Welfare
- Sixties Scoop
- The Justice System
- Missing and Murdered Women and Girls
- Truth and Reconciliation
- Reflection and Application
This phase was created in association with an Indigenous development team and includes multimedia elements, online quizzes, and virtual coaching. Participants will leave the program with an action plan on how they can make a difference.
