Indigenous HR Skill Builder Conference

This annual conference is designed for HR professionals and other administrators who work with Indigenous communities and organizations. It offers 3-hour-long, in-depth, Indigenous-focused workshops on a variety of HR topics delivered by experts in their field.

Topics are carefully chosen by our team of Senior HR Consultants to reflect current trends in Human Resources and Indigenous Communities.

Each workshop is lead by a facilitator who has extensive expertise in their topic and a strong knowledge of Indigenous culture and communities. Each session includes group activities, tools, and techniques to utilize in the workplace to enhance organization and community capacity.

We welcome attendees from across the nation to allow for increased networking opportunities and to cultivate important relationships with other Human Resources Professionals.

For 10 years, this event was localized to Winnipeg, but in 2019 we were able to expand and offer a second conference in Enoch, Alberta. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we pivoted and presented virtually in 2020 and 2021. Moving forward, we will expand further, allowing for cross-country, multi-platform participation.
