Allyson is a Senior HR consultant with approximately 15 years’ experience in the field of human resources and holds a Diploma in Human Resources Management along with Certificates in American Sign Language and as Educational Assistant. Prior to joining Legacy Bowes, Allyson was an HR manager supervising a team of 7 in a large social services agency with multiple locations. She has worked in both union and non-unionized work environments that experienced high levels of frequent change.
Allyson offers experience in all aspects of HR including specialized expertise in collective bargaining, labour relations, performance management, workplace investigations, compensation and benefits and the development and implementation of HR strategy. She also has over 12 years’ experience and expertise gained from her role on a workplace health and safety committee. Finally, Allyson is a very detailed and well-organized professional who prides herself on managing projects within stated timelines. She has superior interpersonal skills and extensive conflict resolution experience.
